Okay, sorry I made a second thread but this isn't about the first one. I installed it, did the driver sign thing, it worked fine for about 5 minutes, I was messing around with the configs, saved it, then my guy in mw2 started to turn in controlably, couldn't control him, restarted xim, now it keeps giving me the error 401 and ctrl+esc doesn't work either, I have to end the process.

Read the support faq located in my signature. More than likely you have accidentally entered letters in your update rate field. You can edit your config in notepad, or make a new copy of default.xim. More details on how to do this are in the faq.

I did have "w" in the set for the frequency update and I fixed it, saved it, made sure it still is set to run with xim but I still get the same error.

Well did you uninstall and re install with the method I mentioned in your other thread?

With the booting without signed driver thing, yes I did. It worked perfectly for like 5 minutes and then it screwed up. Should I just reinstall it?

uninstall everything, reboot, then use the usb express method I suggested earlier. Follow it exactly and it will work.


Also, do not copy your config from before and use it on the new install.. Create a new config entirely. If you load a corrupt config one time, and then try to load a working config, sometimes the working config won't load because the corrupt one was loaded first.

Thanks! That worked great, although I keep getting this cannot read disc error like every 10 minutes quiting my game.
