I was wondering If I can sync my blaze pro with a NON OEM Microsoft wired controller. Iv'e previously tried to sync my XIM with my authentic rockband controller, but it didn't work at all

I was browsing dealextreme the other day, and I saw a Non-Oem microsoft controller for $22 with free shipping. Should I purchase the fake microsoft controller, or should I just get a authentic microsoft branded controller at my local wal-mart for $50 Canadian... OUCH!
