XIM 360 Software (Latest Stable Build)
Updated: May 15th 2009

What’s new in this release:

New “Smart” Mouse System (Halo 3 support included)
• Alt-Tab to switch back and forth to XIM application now supported
• Fixed an intermittent hang during shutdown

Please note that the new smart mouse system is a technology preview of the great work going on in XIM. There is no guarantee that support for your favorite game will be included in XIM2.

**IMPORTANT NOTE FOR VISTA x64 USERS**
Microsoft has employed the ability for vendors to enable a protection scheme against unsigned drivers. Since the XIM 360 driver we provide is not signed, you may need to start Vista up in the “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” mode depending on your system’s vendor/policy settings. To do this, start up Vista and press F8 at the advanced boot options dialog and select the “Disable Driver Signature Enforcement” option. This will allow you to install unsigned drivers properly for the current session only. For more information on this function and how to make these changes permanent, see the msdn tech article HERE.
